Evidence Packs That Survive an External Review

External reviewers do not need every dashboard tile your team uses for sales forecasting. They need a path: contract or order, invoice, payment or receivable, and the ledger posting that recognises or defers the amount.

An evidence pack for subscription revenue should name the sample criteria, list source systems, and store immutable exports for the period under review. Live portal views change; exports dated on the audit day hold still.

Include the exceptions, not only the clean samples. A pack that shows only perfect trails invites follow-up questions. A pack that explains breaks and residual risk builds credibility.

We favour short cover notes that state what the pack proves and what it does not. That honesty shortens review cycles more than polished formatting ever will.
